Appalling Customer Service - aggressive salesman and refund issues 3rd December 2019.
I will endeavour to make this review as concise as possible. If you leave a refundable deposit, on a vehicle, please be warned that the refund process can be onerous - I cannot speak for the Malvern branch but the Kidderminster branch has one refund card machine, accessible in one office - the refund process can only be executed by one member of staff who is obviously not always available to carry this out.
However, what was more stressful and traumatic, was the appalling behaviour of a salesman. Whilst visiting the branch, to sort out my refund, I was treated in the most appalling manner by a particular salesman. Firstly he was inattentive and unhelpful, he then rapidly became alarmingly aggressive in body language, his tone and verbally - there was no justification for his outburst. He rose to his feet, shouted at me, and a family member who was with me, and proceeded to aggressively wave his arms at us. At the time - I had a young baby with me and was holding a young toddler in my arms.
We sought the attention of the Manager who listened to us and then acted efficiently in getting the refund matter sorted. His apology & actions were appreciated, however, the incident certainly left its mark.
I am very shocked & saddened by the response to my review.
Due to alarming discrepancies, the matter will be escalated outside of the review platform. I will just say - yes the Sales Manager did call me, the day after the incident, to apologise again for the behaviour of his salesman. He said he would offer my son two free valets, as some recompense for our distress. I’m sure the public will derive their own conclusions.
